mHealth (mobile health) is a general term for the use of mobile phones and other wireless technology in medical care. The use of mobile devices to notify users about preventative healthcare services is the most widespread application of mHealth. However, mHealth is also utilized for managing chronic diseases, tracking epidemic outbreaks, supporting therapy, and disease surveillance.
